Archive - introduction
In walked Archive in late 1999. A duo of unique ambition, more than
welcome by ie:music for their humorous, gentle, outgoing nature and
focused attitude.
I took over as their personal manager in 2000 and they have never ceased to amaze me with their creative ability and drive. I am fascinated when I watch them work and completely blown away when I watch them live on stage during a tour. They make my job feel fifty times easier than it should be and I believe in them 101%.
What I love about Archive is the scope of each of their musical influences. Each of them bring their own inspiration to a sound so unique; their raw and intense moments so emotional and beautiful, the beautiful ones so desperate. Archive beat down the sound barriers that so many bands and artistes are hindered by. The wall of sound that they are creating is getting so big it's difficult to see where it will end.
