Craig Armstrong Receives Classical Brit Nomination  —  6th May, 2008

Craig Armstrong, along with A R Rahman, has been nominated for a Classical Brit award for the soundtrack to the Hollywood blockbuster Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

The nomination falls under the category Soundtrack of the Year and is up against competition from fellow nominees Dario Marianelli (for Atonement) and James Newton Howard (for Blood Diamond).

The winners will be revealed on Thursday, 8th May at the prestigious award ceremony which takes place the The Royal Albert Hall. You can catch the night's events on Thursday, 15th May, when it will be broadcast on ITV1.
