Archive's New Album Number 1 on itunes France  —  24th May, 2006

Archive's fifth album "Lights" was released on May 22nd this week throughout Europe.

The number 1 download result is testament to "Lights" being made available digitally 1 week prior to the CD release in France.

Available across all the major digital platforms, it has achieved the highest download space on France's itunes music store-that alone is evidence that fans have clearly leapt upon the highly anticipated release.

Following on from the hugely successful Visions tour in Germany, when they headlined alongside The Zutons, The Kooks and The Duels, Archive will return to Germany to promote their latest album at the prestigious Southside and Hurricane Festivals in June. They are also playing at Eurockeennes in France alongside Sigor Ros and Muse, Six Fours and Vienne with Massive Attack plus more Festivals in France, in Belgium and their own shows in Greece during July.

It seems that the new album, “Lights” truly has brought illuminated prospects for both the band and their European fans, a massive congratulations to Archive and to Warners France.
