Benchmarking a new standard for singer/songwriters in the music
industry, ie:music’s emerging act, Mike Rosenberg Band released their
debut single “Stray Dog” on Monday, June 5th.
Classic songwriting has always been about telling stories – Mike
Rosenberg Band takes that narrative tradition and, with contemporary
sounds and beats, tells stories for our time.
Stray Dog distils the collective influences and talents of the group, a
fusion of modern studio wherewithal and truly organic
songwriting. The whole track sits atop a bed of synths and
electronic doodles, rolling forward with a cello line, finger picked
guitar and restless brushes.
Mike Rosenberg adds his unique lyrics and beautiful vocal delivery,
“Stray Dog” promises to be a prominent addition to the world of
summer’s essential sounds.
